Series of lectures: Aula Mediterrània 2018-2019

The Aula Mediterrània inter-university programme aims to promote studies on the Mediterranean with the broadest and most interdisciplinary perspective possible. Initiated in 2015, it is the result of collaboration between the IEMed and the academic world.

The lectures for the 2018-19 programme are characterised by their diversity of topics: Managing refugees and migrations, the situation in Syria, the role of countries such as Iran and Saudi Arabia, the phenomenon of terrorism and violent extremism that particularly affects the young people and the media, etc. Check all the conferences.

Practical information

All sessions are open and take place at 6.30 pm at IEMed (Girona, 20. Barcelona). They are available to watch live on the IEMed streaming video channel.

Languages:
 The lectures will be in Catalan, Spanish, English or French, depending on the speaker, without simultaneous translation. There will only be a simultaneous translation at the lecture of 10th of January and the 17th of February. 

Attendance is free, previous registration here.

Those who attend 40% of the sessions can request an attendance and achievement diploma delivered by the IEMed, jointly issued with the master’s programmes participating in the lectures. Anyone wishing to request the diploma should complete the registration form and sign the attendance sheets for each session.
