Before starting your application process, you should contact your referees to let them know about your intention to apply for the IBEI master’s programme of your choice.
- If you are in your last year of undergraduate studies, the reference letters must be provided by professors from your current university.
- If you have recently completed your degree and have been working for the past four years, you may submit one academic and one professional reference letter.
- If you have completed your degree more than five years ago, you can submit two letters from professional referees.
Your referees will be able to submit their reference letters through the application system. You will have to provide their professional details in the respective section of the application form and the online system will contact your referees directly with instructions on how to submit their respective reference letters. Please note that non-institutional email addresses such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. will not be accepted. The reference letters may be written in English, Spanish or Catalan. Letters should be submitted on official letterheaded paper and signed by the referee.
For an application to be considered complete, both reference letters must have been submitted. It is your responsibility to follow up on the submission of the reference letters by your referees.
