Applying for Mundus MAPP
Admissions to Mundus MAPP are centrally administered by the Central European University in Budapest. Qualitative assessment of the candidates is performed jointly by the four consortium universities. Please note that only applications submitted to CEU in the way detailed below will be considered. It is not possible to apply to Mundus MAPP universities other than CEU.
Candidates are required to fill in an online application form, which can be found here when the application process is open. Please make sure you apply to the right mobility track.
Besides submitting the online application form candidates will be required to upload supporting documentation. The list of these documents and the relevant forms are available here. Candidates are advised to start obtaining/preparing supplementary documents even before the form goes live.
Candidates who wish to be considered for an EMJMD scholarship will need to indicate this in the online application form. No separate funding application will be necessary.
Applications for the academic year 2019-2021:
- Your complete application has to be submitted by January 3, 2019, 23:59 Central European Time (CET) in order to be considered for an EMJMD scholarship.
- Prospective students who are not applying for scholarships may submit their application until April 8, 2019, 23:59 Central European Time (CET).
Applicants who submit an application by the Januray 3rd, 2019 deadline, but for some reason their application is not complete, may be considered for a self-financing place in the program if the missing documents arrive after January 3rd (so the application is finally complete). Applicants will be asked to confirm whether they are interested in this option.
Final decisions regarding all applications for self-financing places will be available in Embark by May 2019. Applicants are encouraged to secure their funding to support the two years of their studies in Mundus MAPP by this date.
Scholarship applicants will however have to provide all relevant information for the consortium to determine scholarship category, particularly information on citizenship and residence in the past five years.
Applicants wishing to be considered for an EMJMD scholarship may apply for no more than two other EMJMD programmes in addition to Mundus MAPP. In case a student applies to more than three EMJMD programs s/he will be excluded from the selection for an EMJMD Scholarship.
