Scholarships

The Mundus MAPP consortium is continuing to offer financial aid to top applicants. These scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit. All applicants submitting their application by the scholarship application deadline of February 1, 2017 will be automatically considered.

Applications submitted by the other two applications deadlines of November 20, 2016 and May 3, 2017 will not be considered for financial aid.

The following financial aid packages will be available for the 2017-2019 study cycle:

For one person in the CEU-IBEI track:

A CEU Master’s Excellence Scholarship for year 1 at CEU combined with a 50% tuition waiver for the second year at IBEI.

The CEU Master’s Excellence Scholarship covers the full cost of tuition and medical insurance. In addition, excellence scholarship recipients are awarded a monthly stipend of 96,000 HUF and housing in the CEU Residence Center for students who are not residents of Budapest.

In addition to the costs of living, the scholarship recipient will be expected to pay the following amount for tuition fees: 5,500 EUR for the second year at IBEI.

For one person in the ISS-IBEI track:

A 50% tuition waiver for both academic years.

In addition to the costs of living, the scholarship recipient will be expected to pay the following amount for tuition fees: 5,500 EUR/academic year, i. e. 11,000 EUR in total.

These scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit. All applicants submitting their application by the scholarship application deadline on February 1, 2017, will be automatically considered. Since the offered scholarship packages do not cover all tuition and living costs and only the best candidate from each track will be awarded with a scholarship, applicants are strongly encouraged to seek external funding from the time of submitting their application to the program, to cover their costs/supplement the funding provided by the Consortium.

In addition to the financial aid offered by the Mundus MAPP Consortium specifically, admitted students are eligible to apply for other scholarships administered by some of the partner institutions. Inquiries about these must be addressed to the contact person named below:
