IBEI Scholarships

IBEI, in collaboration with other institutions, offers the possibility to apply for scholarships that partially or completely cover the enrollment amount of the master's programmes. The application form for the master's programmes includes the option to apply for this grants, except those managed by the Fundación Carolina and the scholarships for the candidates to the Mundus MAPP program.

Application deadlines will be published when the admissions period begins.

IBEI offers a limited number of merit-based partial tuition fee waivers for students admitted to any of the master’s programmes. The application form for the master's programmes includes the option to apply for this grant.

The Fundación Banco Sabadell and IBEI offer grants covering 50% (€5,500) of the tuition fees of the IBEI master’s programmes. The application form for the master's programmes includes the option to apply for this grant.

The Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera and IBEI offer scholarships within the Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera Masters of Excellence programme for the Master's in International Relations and for the Master’s in International Security. These merit-based scholarships cover the full tuition fees. Applicants must have Spanish nationality and demonstrate an excellent academic record. Indra Sistemas, the global consulting, technology, innovation and talent company, and IBEI offer full tuition fee grants for the Master’s in International Security in order to educate future professionals in the field of security studies. The application form for the master's programmes includes the option to apply for this grant.

The Fundación Carolina, an institution that promotes cultural relations and cooperation between Spain and the Iberoamerican Community of Nations in the fields of education and science, awards together with IBEI tuition fee waivers for the Master's in International Relations and another one for the Master's in International Security. These grants are targeted at students from one of the Iberoamerican Community of Nations member states. Candidates have to apply through the Fundación Carolina’s website. 

The Erasmus Mundus Master’s Program in Public Policy (Mundus MAPP) is a 2-year-long international Masters course co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Four leading European universities joined forces to deliver Mundus MAPP: Central European University in Budapest (Hungary), the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (Spain), the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University in the Hague (The Netherlands), and the University of York (UK).The Mundus MAPP programme provides scholarships to outstanding students to attend Mundus MAPP.
