Biography

Yinghe is a lecturer at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law in Wuhan, China, while doing her PhD at Beijing Foreign Studies University. She holds BA in English and Area Studies from Beijing Foreign Studies University and MA in European Studies from King's College London. Her research journey has led her to explore secessionist movements in Europe, with a focus on Catalonia and Scotland. She is multilingual and is eager to contribute her unique perspective – gained from experiences in both China and Europe – to IBEI's academic community.
