Letícia Meniconi Barbabela is a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Politics and International Relations, University College Dublin, Ireland. She is interested in political behavior and attitudes towards corruption in middle-income democracies. Her thesis is about citizens’ awareness and efficacy against corruption and is mostly focused on Latin American and African countries, more specifically, Brazil, South Africa, and Tunisia.
