Jeffrey Michaels wins the Christopher Coker Prize

Jeffrey Michaels, IEN Senior Fellow at IBEI, has been awarded the Inaugural Christopher Coker Prize for the paper "‘A very different kind of challenge’? NATO’s prioritization of China in historical perspective"

The new Christopher Coker Prize is awarded annually by International Politics for the best strategic studies paper published in the preceding volume of the journal. The prize comes with a 500 GBP award to support the winner's ongoing research.

International Politics publishes innovative scholarship on international relations with a focus on the struggle between states for power in international society.
