IBEI students visit the Representation of the European Commission in Barcelona

Students enrolled in the class "EU political processes" wrapped-up a semester marked by important political events for the European Union, with a visit to the Representation of the European Commission in Barcelona, accompanied by their professors Adriana Brassart, affiliated professor at IBEI and Head of Office at the Institute for Integrated Transitions; and Emmanuel Cohen-Hadria, affiliated professor at IBEI and Head of Euro-Mediterranean Policies at IEMed.

The Head of the Representation, Ferran Tarradellas, discussed with the students about the role of his office as well as about some of the main challenges facing the EU.

This visit is in line with the practical orientation of this class whose aim is not only to familiarize students with institutions, policies and challenges of the EU but also to offer them the opportunity to interact with EU officials and practical skills.
