Today, the ability to understand the world inevitably involves interpreting and predicting what will happen in China, not only in the field of international relations, but in all dimensions of analysis.

This month's monograph in the IDEES magazine "China before a World in crisis", promoted jointly with the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals (IBEI), proposes an in-depth analysis of Chinese reality from different angles and perspectives based on existing debates on transformation and consolidation of China as a superpower and on what its role will be in the major key issues on the global agenda. The monographic issue has been coordinated by Pablo Pareja, academic co-coordinator of the Master's in Public Policy (Mundus MAPP).

IDEES is the online magazine on contemporary issues edited by the Centre for Contemporary Studies an in-house think tank of the Government of Catalonia. The magazine addresses the main contemporary global challenges and debates through the view of leading world experts.

Based on monographic dossiers, articles and conferences, IDEES offers a broad and multifaceted vision at the main issues relevant to Catalonia, Europe and the world.
