IBEI hosts the 11th Pan-European Conference on International Relations
From 13 to 16 September, IBEI hosts the 11th edition of the European International Studies Association (EISA)'s Conference.
As an institute dedicated to promoting scientific knowledge through advanced research and postgraduate education, IBEI’s aim has always been to increase the understanding of our world's contemporary global challenges in the domains of politics and international relations. This year’s EISA Conference provides IBEI with an eminent opportunity to do so.
From IBEI, we trust the Conference will provide all the participants with ample opportunity to meet and exchange views with leading academics and researchers, friends and colleagues, as well as sponsors and exhibitors.
The topic of the conference 'The Politics of International Studies in an Age of Crises' is an important and timely one. With multiple, multi-dimensional and cross-national crises gripping not only the European continent but also the rest of the world, it is a pressing task to enquire into what kind of role International Relations should play in navigating these opportunities and challenges and to begin to chart the way forward for the discipline.
We wish all the participants three successful days of stimulating discussions and plenty of networking opportunities!!

The European International Studies Association (EISA) is a new individual membership based association, serving the International Relations community in Europe and beyond.
EISA aims to bring together academics and others working in the field and subfields of international studies. It organises conferences for professionals and students at different stages of their careers and provides frameworks for facilitating networking, exchange and bridge-building among different European institutions.
Activities include a broad range of events, ranging from large scale biennial Pan-European Conferences to the European Workshops in International Studies (EWIS), PhD summer schools, Exploratory Symposia (ES) and Young Researchers’ Workshops (YRW), the latter organized back-to-back of the Pan-European conferences.
EISA aims to be a forum for enhancing research on international studies and for stimulating mobility, exchange and dissemination of knowledge throughout Europe and beyond.
