Carlos Sánchez holds a Master’s Degree in Demography (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 2003) and a Degree in Geography (Universitat de Barcelona, 1998). Since 2005 is the IBEI’s Research Coordinator. Its functions include the technical coordination of the Institute participation in research projects funded by the European Union and other international and national sources, public and private. He is also responsible for supporting IBEI researchers in the presentation and development of projects, as well as in the organization of conferences, seminars and other events of research dissemination and transfer.
