Call for visiting scholars in the Erasmus Mundus Masters Program in Public Policy (Mundus MAPP)

The two-year Erasmus Mundus Masters Program in Public Policy-Mundus MAPP is jointly offered by four top-ranked universities: Central European University in Vienna (Austria), the Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University in The Hague (Netherlands), the University of York (UK) and the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (Spain). They offer an integrated curriculum of two academic years, a joint Master of Arts degree in Public Policy which is accredited in four European countries: Hungary, The Netherlands, Spain and the UK. Mundus MAPP, established 10 years ago, has been selected for the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree grant under the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union in the summer of 2017 for the third time.

The Mundus MAPP consortium is inviting applications for Erasmus Mundus Visiting Scholar positions for the 2018-2019 academic year. Visits are for 2-8 weeks periods spent at one of the consortium institutions. Selected applicants will receive an Erasmus Mundus visiting scholarship during their stay.

Applicants must have a PhD degree and relevant academic teaching and/or policy related practitioner experience. The consortium welcomes applications from candidates who can offer short (e.g. 1 day) workshops focusing on transferable skills relevant to policy studies masters students. Alternatively or in addition, visiting scholars are expected to contribute to running courses and/or giving public lectures and/or participate in research seminars and/or provide thesis supervision support at the host institutions. Scholars may also use the opportunity to make progress with their own research and broadening their scholarly network.

Further inquiries may beaddressed to Professor Ágnes Bátory, Mundus MAPP Program Director based at Central European University, via email to batorya@ceu.edu.
