Biografia
Libby Maman is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI).
She received her PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, entitled "The Democratic Qualities of Regulatory Agencies and Trust." Her research addresses the challenges of administrative governance in a democratic setting and public trust. Her focus is on regulatory governance, and she works with a variety of methodologies. She has extensive experience in measurement development and validation, survey design, experimental surveys, and interview analysis.
In recent years, Libby has worked as part of the TiGRE project, a Horizon 2020 funded research project on trust in governance and regulation in Europe.
Before beginning her academic career, Libby worked in the Israeli civil service. She held a high-level position in the Ministry of Culture and Sports, as well as other positions in the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Religious Services, and the Jerusalem Development Authority.
