U.S. Presidential elections usually have a significant impact on the direction taken in global politics and the vote on 3 November 2020 will certainly be no different.  During this semester was planned a series of discussions about various aspects of the primary process of selecting a Democratic candidate to challenge President Trump, from an insider’s perspective. These discussions were always intended to be recorded as podcasts – as a result of COVID-19 the first episodes are only podcasts.

Episode 1

Discussing a number of issues related to funding, campaigning and winning both the nomination and election itself, are Robert Kissack, Associate Professor and Head of Studies at IBEI, and Nicholas Pullen, IBEI alumni and former attorney in the State of Pennsylvania who has worked on campaigns in a variety of capacities since 2000.
