Barcelona Summer School in Global Politics, Development and Security
The IBEI Summer School in Global Politics, Development and Security is a program designed for graduate students and all those who have an interest in advanced knowledge of international security, international development and global politics issues. The objective is to offer different short courses on significant topics, taught by scholars and experts of international prestige. The School will enable participants to broadly discuss current developments in world politics in the light of core social-science and IR theories and perspectives.
The format will be face to face. Some courses will be offered in hybrid format (classes will run simultaneously face to face and online).

Barcelona Summer School of the Mediterranean and the Middle East
The Barcelona Summer School of the Mediterranean and the Middle East is a joint initiative of IBEI and Blanquerna - Universitat Ramón Llull. The School consists of two separate but complementary parts. The first part will consist of a number of short courses on the politics and international relations of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, taught by experts of international repute. The second part will include interactive roundtables focused on the various policy challenges the two regions face. This unique dual structure will enable the programme to cater to the needs of students and practitioners.
The format will be hybrid (classes will run simultaneously face to face and online to allow students to choose the modality that best suits their needs).

Barcelona Science and Technology Diplomacy Summer School
SciTech DiploHub, the Barcelona Science and Technology Diplomacy Hub and IBEI, have partnered to offer a first-of-its-kind, university accredited training in Science and Technology Diplomacy in a will to train the next cohort of leaders of a field that is increasingly essential to tackle humanity’s global challenges.
Aimed at mid-career scientists and technology experts, as well as diplomats and international relations practitioners, this online edition of the Summer School offers an immersive 30+ hours of live sessions that covers the most pressing issues on Science and Technology Diplomacy ranging from sustainable development to technology diplomacy, with a special focus on Europe, the Mediterranean and the role of global cities.
