Biography
He holds a BA in Law from the Universitat de Barcelona (UB) and PhD in Law from the Università di Bologna. He also completed a Diploma from the Research Centre of the Hague Academy of International Law in 1997. He has worked as a professor of International Public Law at the UB since 2001 and was a visiting lecturer at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua in 1999, the Universidad de Puerto Rico in 2002 and the Buenos Aires branch of the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales in 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2011. He also teaches in the Master's Programme in International Relations at the IBEI, the Master's Programme in International Business Law at ESADE, the Master's Programme in Environmental Law at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and the Distance Learning Centre Foundation for Economic and Technological Development (Fundación CEDDET). He has participated in several research projects funded by Spanish and European institutions and is the author of numerous publications on International Public Law, particularly in International Economic Law. He is a member of the Spanish Association of Professors of International Law and International Relations (AEPDIRI) and also a member of the Society of International Economic Law (SIEL).
