Vacancy: Admissions and International Mobility Officer - CLOSED
The Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) is looking for an Admissions and International Mobility Officer. The selected person will work closely with the Head of the Admissions and International Mobility Office, providing support in managing processes related to admissions, academic mobility, and assistance for students and faculty.
Main Responsibilities
Support in Admissions
- Assistance in managing admission applications for master's programs, including initial document review and process follow-up.
- Support for the Admissions Committee: preparation of reports and analysis of applications.
- Guidance for international students on administrative procedures (visas, residence permits, etc.).
Financial Aid Management
- Collaboration in the management of scholarship programs, from dissemination of calls to providing support to beneficiaries.
International Mobility
- Support in coordinating the international mobility program (incoming and outgoing students), including communication with partner institutions and administrative management of agreements.
Personalized Assistance
- Resolving inquiries from candidates and students, offering professional and friendly service.
- Assistance in selection processes and guidance on matters related to joining the master's programs.
Requirements
Academic Background
- University degree in areas such as International Relations, Social Sciences, Education, Humanities, or similar.
Languages
- High proficiency in English, Spanish, and Catalan (oral and written).
- Knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus.
Experience
- Previous experience in areas such as admissions, international relations, or academic management (minimum 1 year).
- Experience in international or academic mobility environments will be highly valued.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in digital tools and academic management systems.
- Knowledge of specific admissions and mobility programs will be an advantage.
Key Competencies
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and attention to detail.
- Customer-oriented with effective communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate closely with the Head of the Admissions Office.
