Two researchers from IBEI have been awarded Marie Curie grants within the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme from the EU

In the latest announcement of the Marie Curie grants within the new Framework Programme of the European Union, Horizon 2020, and with the aim of promoting the mobility of researchers with experience throughout its member countries, six grants have been awarded to promote research by investigators who will be joining the IBEI.

Marta Iñiguez de Heredia , under the supervision of Esther Barbé, will carry out the project “Security Paradoxes in the Great Lakes: Between the Military-Capable and the Good-Governed State”

Martijn Vlaskamp, under the supervision of Esther Barbé will conduct the project “The Global-Local Nexus of Armed Conflicts: The interlinkages between natural resource-fuelled armed conflicts and the EU’s raw materials supply”.
