12th Euro-Asia Summer School: EU-East Asia Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation in Global Governance
Participants are Bachelor and Master students from Korea, Japan, China and Europe. Approximately 40 students are selected to attend the summer programme.
For the participants in the Summer School, a certificate of Hitotsubashi University and Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals will be awarded.
Participants will stay in guest houses or ho(s)tels in Tokyo and Barcelona. Breakfast and lunch on class days will be provided.
Participants wishing to book additional nights before the check-in date and/or after the check-out date should make their own arrangements, at their own expense.
Participants need to make the necessary arrangements if they are required to obtain a visa. Please visit the travel information website of the country of your nationality.
Participation Fees and Scholarships
The participation fee for the entire 2-week program is 500 EUR. This includes accommodation (half-board) and domestic travel for activities within the programme in Tokyo and Barcelona.
Applications for mobility scholarships should be motivated together with the overall application by the applying students (including a detailed CV, motivation letter, copy of academic transcripts and proof of English language skills) by 20 May 2020. Applicants will be notified on the result of their application by 1 June 2020.
- Check-in in Tokyo is foreseen on 16 August 2020.
- Check-out in Tokyo is foreseen on 22 August 2020.
- Check-in in Barcelona is foreseen on 23 August 2020.
- Check-out in Barcelona is foreseen on 29 August 2020.
Participants have to make their own international travel arrangements, ensuring to arrive in Tokyo on 16 August 2020 at the latest and on 23 August 2020 in Barcelona.
Participants must ensure to have adequate travel and health insurance.
