Specialization course | International Relations, Geopolitics and Global Governance (UOC, IBEI)
Objectives
The goal of this program is to introduce participants to the complexities of world politics, making them aware of the multiple dimensions existing in the international area and facilitating their understanding of economic and political decisions, taking the geopolitical context and policy processes involved into consideration.
Competences
This program will provide and enhance the following capacities:
- Conducting complex analyses integrating a large number of socio-political variables
- Forecasting possible developments in world politics and global governance
- Translating theoretical and conceptual constructs into refined expert interpretations
Who it is aimed at
This specialization course is designed for graduate students with Bachelor's Degrees in social sciences (Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Business and Administration, Social Sciences), other Bachelor's Degrees and non-graduate students interested in international policy issues and concerned about the problems that the modern world faces. The level of the course subjects is equivalent to a Master's Degree, but non-graduate students will be accepted provided they have minimum level knowledge to follow the program.
