Credits: 4 ECTS
Electives in advanced research methods and techniques
This course examines how we can exploit temporal and situational features of our data. Multi-level modelling recognises and prioritizes the context within which the object of research is situated - for example, a person’s level of trust in the government will be conditioned by the features of the country they live in. Students will learn methods for dealing with nested models. The course will also cover strategies for panel data, such as fixed effects and first differences, and will train students in how to model and interpret interaction effects.
