Biography
Luís Martínez Lorenzo is a research assistant at IBEI in the framework of the research project "Building resilient peace: Micro-level resistence to shocks (RESPAX)", coordinated by Dr. Lesley Ann Daniels and funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation. He holds a bachelor in Psychology (University of Santiago de Compostela, 2017) and a Master's Degree in Peace and Conflict Studies (Uppsala University, 2019). His research focuses on non-violent conflicts, the participation of civil society actors in peace processes and the transition of rebel groups into political parties. His work has been published in journals such as International Negotiation. Luís has previously worked as a research assistant at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research, Uppsala University, and at the Folke Bernadotte Academy.
