Biography
Laia Brossa Bescós is a research assistant for the Jean Monnet network "Crisis-Equity-Democracy for Europe and Latin America" (CRISEUL), coordinated by Dr. Andrea C. Bianculli. Laia holds a double degree in Spanish and French Law from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Université Toulouse 1 Capitole. Following these studies, Laia was awarded a scholarship to study at the College of Europe where she obtained a Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies with a major in the European Union and the Neighbourhood Policy (ENP). In her master's thesis, she analysed the constitutional Reforms in Tunisia and Morocco after the 2011 Revolution through the minority rights. She worked at the European Union Delegation at the Council of Europe dealing with the European Court of Human Rights judgments and the EU accession to the European Convention on Human Rights. Later, she worked as a policy officer for an NGO dealing with climate change policies.
