IBEI and the United Nations University Institute on Globalization, Culture and Mobility sign an agreement
IBEI has signed an agreement with The United Nations University Institute on Globalization, Culture and Mobility (UNU - GCM), one of fifteen research and training institutes of the United Nations University.
The overarching goal of the United Nations University is to contribute to global sustainable development that will enable present generations to live a decent life in peace, in freedom, in safety, and in good health without compromising the ability of future generations to do the same. UNU - GCM is committed to supporting these goals through a sustained focus on globalization, culture and mobility.
The UNU Institute in Barcelona (UNU-Barcelona), became operational in 2012 with the appointment of Prof. Dr. Parvati Nair as its founding Director.
This agreement is in addition to more than fifty agreements already signed by the IBEI & other institutions, and allows increasing the internships supply of the IBEI Masters’ students. Moreover, the agreement lays the foundation for future research collaborations.
