Biography

Applied linguist and PhD Candidate in Political and Social Sciences at the University of Bologna. His research focuses on a Critical Multimodal Discourse Analysis of how migration is represented in information campaigns about the risks of irregular migration, and the epistemological effects these representations have on the management of human mobility. His interests include Critical Migration Studies, European Studies, Multimodal Discourse Analysis, Semiotics and Political Communication.
