IBEI’s Master’s in International Relations has been designated an "International Master's Programme".
The designation ‘International Master’s Programme’ (IMP) highlights Masters’ programmes that have the greatest international dimension and most highly qualified teaching staff, in order to facilitate the consolidation and promotion of the programme to prospective students, locally and abroad, and to the international university community in general.
The designation is awarded by the Agency for the Administration of University and Research Grants of the Government of Catalonia to official Masters’ programmes, and its own programmes delivered in Catalonia that are able to achieve an international dimension.
Criteria taken into account include the languages in which subjects are delivered, achievements of the teaching staff, employability of students, and opportunities for doctorate programmes. Criteria also include the qualification having commenced a minimum of two years earlier – or being the result of the restructuring of a previous Master’s degree –, and a minimum number of 20 students registered, 30% of which are from abroad.
