COVID-19 Action Protocol for IBEI Students
The academic year 2020-2021 has already started at IBEI. On September 23rd, IBEI's Director Jacint Jordana together with the Head of Studies Robert Kissack introduced the new cohort of students to the Institution and to Barcelona. Also, each of the Master's coordinators walked them through their programmes in detail.
Learning in small classes and seminars and tutorials is a key feature of the IBEI learning experience. We are committed to continuing to offer this genuine experience for all our students. Most of the courses will be held on campus and face-to-face in large classrooms to allow social distancing, whilst some compulsory courses and a few electives will also be offered online or as hybrid courses with remote access to the classroom. Remote learning will include interactive sessions where you will be able to engage with your tutors and fellow students.
You can access here to the COVID-19 Action Protocol for IBEI Students (Spanish and English). The purpose of this document is to serve as a guide for action in the face of suspicious or confirmed cases of Covid-19 among IBEI students, as well as to provide information about prevention measures to avoid contagion during their activities on campus, the action plan in the event of contagion, suspicion of contagion or isolation for students.
IBEI will continue to monitor the situation and follow the advice from the Spanish Government as the health and safety of students and staff is of utmost importance to the Institute. We are making arrangements to adapt our facilities to do everything possible to create a safe environment for the entire IBEI community.
