Anna Pont is Graduated in Law from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). She also studied a Master on International Protection of Human Rights in Universidad de Alcalá (UAH). She has previously done some research work on the subject of human rights, and for the last year she's been in the consultancy sector. She's now in her first year as a Law PhD student at UPF. Her aim is to study how machine learning algorithms used to assist in decision-making processes affect human rights, what preventive and corrective measures can be taken, and what could be a reasonable liability system. Therefore, she's interested in subjects such as: protection data, AI ethics, cybersecurity, etc. At IBEI she is the ethics and data protection specialist for the REPGOV project, led by Tony Bertelli.
