Postdoctoral Researcher Juan de la Cierva-Formación

Biography

Anna is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow Juan de la Cierva-Formación, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. She holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences, awarded by the European University Institute (2017). Her main areas of interest are comparative ethnicity and nationalism, migration and political communication with particular emphasis on Eastern and Southern Europe. She has published in Ethnic and Migration Studies and Ethnicities and has work forthcoming with top academic publishers (Cambridge UP, Routledge). She has also been involved in a number of pan-European research projects, including two supported by ERC advanced grants: “Political Conflict in the Shadow of the Great Recession” (POLCON) and “Education as a Life-long process” (EduLife).
