Head of Office, Institute for Integrated Transitions
Adriana Brassart has ten years of professional experience of working in the European institutions. She spent more than 5 years working in the European External Action Service, its Middle East Division. Prior to that, she managed development cooperation programmes in the European Commission (DG DEVCO). More recently, Adriana assisted the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs during its presidency of the European Union in 2016. Since 2017, she has been working for the Institute for Integrated Transitions, a Barcelona based international non-governmental organisation dedicated to peacebuilding and democratic transitions. Adriana currently heads its Barcelona office.
Fluent in English, Spanish and French, Adriana holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the University of Economics in Bratislava and a Certificate in European Law and Economics issued jointly by Universities of Rotterdam, Gent, Nijmegen, Tampere, Lisbon, Madrid and Bratislava.
