IBEI students can use the library of the Fundació CIDOB and have free access to the library services of the three degree-awarding universities.

Fundació CIDOB
Its library has a documentary collection specialised in International Relations and development, and comprises over 12,000 monographs, 400 periodical publications from all over the world and 11,000 further documents. As part of the European Information Network on International Relations and Area Studies (EINIRAS), Fundació CIDOB has published a database of online articles.

Library of the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona
The library of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona contains over 1 million publications and nearly 20,000 subscriptions to periodicals, 9,000 e-journals, approximately 6,000 e-books and other sources of information.

Library of the Universitat de Barcelona
The library of the Unversitat de Barcelona, which is open throughout the year, contains over 1,500,000 volumes, and over 6,000 e-books. There are over 21,000 copies of paper or e-journals. The School of Law features the depository library, a centre of reference documentation for research.

Library of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra
The library of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, which comprises over 550,000 issues of monographs, over 15,300 collections of publications on paper, and 6,000 subscriptions to journals, remains open 360 days a year from 8 a.m. until 2 a.m. the following morning.
