WELCOME TO IBEINEWS

The Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals is a young institution. We began our academic activities in 2004-2005, offering a Master’s degree in International Relations, and during 2005 the Institute recruited its first research fellows. Since then, the Master’s course has been growing step by step, and was recognised under the aegis of the Erasmus Mundus Programme of the European Union. In addition, the Institute is training a growing number of academics and research fellows, and has also hosted several visiting professors.

We believe the time is right to launch our Newsletter, in which we aim to provide regular information about the activities of the Institute, and to do so in a simple and efficient manner. We will inform you about the Institute’s day-to-day activities, with news of IBEI Working Papers, conferences, seminars and workshops, research fellows’ publications, together with other activities and news.

We hope it will be of interest to you!

Jacint Jordana
Director
